Product Description
Lightweight, breathable and wonderfully soft, this cotton tassel scarf is made from 100% mulmul cotton, a finely woven fabric that gets softer with every wear. Layered with intricate Ajrakh patterns, modern geometrics meet delicate florals in a balance that feels both timeless and fresh. The hand tied tassels add a relaxed finish whilst the indigo and black colourway pair with denim and neutrals effortlessly.
Every scarf is hand block printed and finished with hand-knotted tassels, so no two pieces are exactly alike. The mark of true craftsmanship.
The colours come entirely from nature, no synthetic dyes, just pigments drawn from plants, roots and minerals.

The Craft
Ajrakh is one of the world's oldest textile traditions, a block printing art form with centuries of history. These scarves are made exclusively by Sufiyan Ismail Khatri, a 10th generation master artisan from the Kutch region of Gujarat. Each piece is made using a 16-step process of block printing, resist dyeing, washing and resting the cloth. It demands patience, precision and a deep knowledge of craft. Widely respected as a guardian of Ajrakh, Sufiyan ji keeps this ancient craft alive for future generations.
