Brexit - New EU Regulations

From 1st January 2021, the UK left the EU. This means that new rules and regulations have come into place that affect the way we ship our parcels to customers in EU countries. This means additional paperwork and associated costs. For those customers in the EU, this means that if you purchase a product from us, you may have to pay import duties and costs. What duties must be paid depends on what is being sent by us, its value, where the product originates from and to which country it is being sent.

All Uk deliveries are shipped free
UK delivery is second class or second class signed for by Royal Mail. We'll keep you updated if we change any of the dates to accommodate your orders.

DELIVERY IN THE UK

Other delivery options available at checkout are Next Day Delivery at £5.46 or Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1.00pm. If you require your order to be shipped quickly please choose this option at the checkout even if the order value is above £100.

Please be aware that delivery to off-shore areas of the UK such as Northern Ireland, North of Scotland, Channel islands and so on, may take longer. We will always keep you fully informed of estimated times of delivery.

International Shipping

We now ship to most countries around the world. This includes the USA, Canada, Mexico, UAE, Asia, Australia and New Zealand.

International shipping is free if you spend over £100. International delivery is by Royal Mail tracked and signed for all destinations. For Europe, delivery is approximately 3-5 working days. For USA, Canada, Mexico, UAE, Asia, Australia and New Zealand delivery times are approximately 5-7 working days. 

CUSTOMS & DUTIES

Please note, additional customs charges, duties or fees may be added when your order reaches its destination. These are out of our control and we are not to be held responsible for paying them. Jewelled Buddha is not responsible for any delays should the package be detained in customs for any reason. 

As we provide a trackable and signed for service for all international deliveries, we will keep you fully informed when you can expect your product to be delivered. 

In the event that you are not home to receive the goods, the delivery company may leave a note informing you to rearrange delivery. Unfortunately we cannot redirect orders on your behalf and therefore we ask that you rearrange delivery as soon as possible.

*Please note that items that are returned to us because you were not available to receive the goods or reschedule the delivery, will not be refunded. This particularly applies to overseas postal delivery services who have a holding period. If you haven't rescheduled the delivery within the holding period time, they may return the item to the sender once the holding period has expired. We are not responsible for rescheduling deliveries with postal services overseas. Once our packages leave the UK and are transferred to the postal services of your country, it is your responsibility to ensure you are available to receive the items. We are more than happy to resend the items again (at no extra charge to you) on the condition that you are available to receive them. If delivery fails again and they are returned to us, we are not obliged to resend the items more than once or offer a refund.

HOW TO PLACE AN ORDER

Select the items you require and click add to cart. At the top right you'll see the shopping bag display the number of items you have chosen. Once you've finished shopping, click the shopping bag. This will show you what you have chosen. Click Checkout. Complete the required information we need to process your order. If you decide you would like to add another item at this stage, select Jewelled Buddha at the top of the page and continue shopping. 

In the checkout section, ensure the drop down box shows United Kingdom if you are in the UK. If you are an international customer, please choose the country where you would like the order to be sent. Postage will be automatically added.

If you have a discount code you can add it in the checkout section. 

ONLINE PAYMENT

Payment options will appear in the checkout section. These are Visa, Mastercard and Amex. We use Stripe to process payments securely. You can also use Apple Pay, enabling you to checkout quickly and securely without having to manually enter shipping and billing information. 

The option to pay with Apple Pay is only visible to customers visiting the Jewelled Buddha store using Safari through the latest iOS 10 or macOS Sierra. You'll need to confirm payment with one of the following devices:

  • iPhone SE, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, and later.

  • iPad Pro, iPad Air 2, iPad mini 3, and later.

  • Apple Watch paired with a supported iPhone.

ORDER CONFIRMATION 

Once you have placed an order online, you will receive an order confirmation email. This is a notification to us that you have placed the order. Once we receive the notification, we will process the order and mark it fullfilled. You will then receive another email notifying you that the order has been sent. 

CANCELLING AN ORDER

We want you to be happy with your purchase, however if you wish to cancel your order and return an item for a refund, please contact us within 24 hours at hello@jewelledbuddha.com. If your order has not been dispatched we will refund the full amount. If the order has been dispatched and you wish to cancel the goods, please do so by returning the items to us in a new, unused, unworn condition with all the original packaging and tags (when applicable) attached, at your own expense within 7 days. On receipt of the goods we will issue a refund.

RETURNS/REFUNDS

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2014, Jewelled Buddha will refund any item you are not happy with, providing the goods are returned in the original saleable condition within 14 days of receipt. You are responsible for the return of the goods and therefore we recommend that you return items by using second class signed for postal service. Please contact us within 48 hours and we will do all we can to help. If you send any items returned unworn and unused outside of a reasonable period of time, we may issue a credit note, however this is down to our goodwill and discretion. New and unused means that there are no marks on the item, or any evidence of wear. We do not accept any item with any indication that it has been used. In such cases the item will be returned to the purchaser. Jewelled Buddha will refund your return shipping cost only if the item has been incorrectly sent or defective.

EXCHANGES

Please note that we cannot exchange like for like items in our Kantha scarves, Sari kimonos or Beaded Necklaces. This is because they are one-of- a-kind and are not supplied in multiples of the same design or colour. The only exceptions are the black sari bead necklaces which we may have multiples of at the time. However if you see something else you like on our website in a similar design or colour at the same price, we will be happy to exchange this if the stock is available. If the stock is not available we will refund you. Sale items cannot be exchanged.

FAULTY GOODS

In the event you receive a product that is faulty, please email us within 48 hours of receiving the product and we will make every effort to resolve the problem. In accordance with the recently updated Consumer Rights Act 2015, you have the right to reject a faulty product. This right is limited to 30 days from the date of purchase.

*Return postage fees will only be refunded along with the purchase price, if the item is proved faulty.

We want you to be completely happy with your purchase, which is why we only send international orders by a tracked and signed for service, giving you and us peace of mind that you'll receive your goods within a reasonable time and without any delivery issues. We charge a flat fee for all orders, so if you buy one item or five, you know you only pay one flat rate. 

PRICING

We aim to be transparent about our pricing and try to keep them consistent across our website and other UK platforms. However they may vary at certain times of the year when we run promotions and may vary between our website and other online marketplace platforms because of additional fees or charges we may incur. This also applies to fairs and exhibitions where we may sell for a slightly lower price if we’re running a promotion.
