Product Availability

When placing an order with Jewelled Buddha, you agree that any and all the information you provide is accurate and complete. All orders are subject to availability and acceptance. When a product is "out of stock" or "sold out" this will be clearly marked against the product on the website and you will not be able to add it to your order. If you require information on the availability of an "out of stock" or "sold out" item, please email us jewelledbuddha@outlook.com.  

Jewelled Buddha is committed to providing you with unique, one of kind products. This particularly applies to our Indian Kantha scarves and Uzbek scarves. As a result, many of our featured items are offered in limited quantities. Please be aware we cannot guarantee that an "out of stock" item will be available again. In the event that an "out of stock" item will be available, owing to the nature of our products being sourced overseas, it may take two - three weeks for that item to be available online. However we will always endeavour to keep you informed should this be the case.

Conditions of Sale

By placing an order online, a contract has been created between "you" and Jewelled Buddha. In doing so you offer to buy the product(s) at the prices indicated as well as the delivery charges stated.

When you place an order online, an email will be automatically generated after your purchase, confirming the details of your purchase. This email is merely an acknowledgement of your order and not a formal acceptance or confirmation of your order by Jewelled Buddha. The acceptance of your order and completion of the contract between "you" and Jewelled Buddha will take place when your order is ready for dispatch. Once your order has been processed and completed and is ready to be despatched we will send you another email notifying you that the order has been fulfilled, unless an email notifying you of a cancellation has occurred.

Acceptance of your order constitutes a binding contract and an agreement to these terms and conditions, subject to your rights of cancellation. Non-acceptance of an order by us will occur in circumstances where we identify a product or price error; the ordered product is unavailable; if we are unable to obtain authorisation for your payment or potential fraudulent activity.

We reserve the right to cancel your order without liability. In the event this occurs we will always endeavour to keep you informed. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Pricing

Our website displays pricing in GBP (£). We take the following payment methods: Visa, Visa Debit, MasterCard and American Express. All credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer.  If the issuer of your payment card refuses to or does not for any reason authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery. Prices may change however, changes will not affect any order you have already placed before a price change came into effect.

Payment

Payment is taken from your credit or debit card at the time of purchase. We use a secure payment system called Stripe. The price you pay is the price you pay at the time your order is received by us. If we discover an error in the price or postage of the products you have ordered, we will contact you as soon as possible. You will then have the option of continuing to purchase the product at the correct price or cancelling your order. In this event, no email notification that your order has been fulfilled will be sent. If we are unable to contact you using the contact details you provided during the order process, the order will be treated as cancelled. We will notify you of this. If you have already paid, we will issue a full refund.

Packaging

All our products are placed in acid-free tissue in recycled luxury white box packaging with a Jewelled Buddha Logo sticker. As a new business we try to keep our costs to you as low as possible.

Fraud

Unfortunately online fraud is a potential threat to any business which is why Jewelled Buddha will do all it can to minimise this threat. We use a secure payment system called Stripe which uses integrated automatic fraud protection. Fraud checks may be carried out if we or Stripe detect any potentially suspicious activity. Occasionally we may ask for additional information in order to process your order which may result in a delay or a cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel your order if we are informed of any suspicious activity.

Giveaways & Prize draws

Prize draw entries are open to residents of the UK & International countries unless otherwise stated.

There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this prize draw.

By entering our prize draws, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Route to entry for the prize draw is by submitting a complete set of answers to the Jewelled Buddha Customer Feedback Survey 2019.

Closing date for the prize draw will be 28th January 2019. After this date no further entries to the prize draw will be permitted.

No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.

Jewelled Buddha reserves the right to cancel or amend the prize draw and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the prize draw will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.

The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered.  The prize is not transferable.

The winner will be judged by the value of his or her opinions and not by any relationship (personal or professional) he or she may have with Jewelled Buddha.

The prize is non-negotiable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Any entrees received after the deadline will not be counted.

The winner will be notified by the email address provided within 5 days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.

The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the prize draw will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

The prize draw and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
