Product Description

Crafted by master artisans, this handcrafted tie-dye scarf is clamp dyed in the ancient Japanese art of Itajime Shibori.

Super soft, 100% habotai silk is gentle on the skin.

Hand finished edges, rectangular scarf.

Material & Care: 100% silk. Gentle hand wash separately in mild detergent and cold water. Do not soak. Drip dry in shade. Alternatively dry clean.

Size: Approx. 55 by 197 cm (22 by 77”). Handmade using AZO free dyes.

Story

Itajime is a technique of Shibori resist dyeing, using wood clamped around sections of folded fabric to resist the dye in particular shapes. This collection has been created by two of India’s respected Master Artisans.
