Jewelled Buddha Featured In Stella Telegraph

I was so excited to be featured in Stella - the women’s lifestyle magazine supplement in The Telegraph back in Sept 2020. The article told my story of how i quit my corporate job and went travelling around Asia for a year.

These were two key moments in my life where i felt so proud of myself. It's not easy leaving a job, giving up your income and taking a leap of faith, especially in your forties. Then to return and start a business instead of slipping quietly back into the 9-5. Most of us are creatures of habit, where comfort zones and routine give us a sense of security. But as Paul Coelho once said "If you think adventure is dangerous, try routine, it's lethal".

I couldn't agree more.

Finally getting my thoughts about travel in the press and being lucky enough to have my business mentioned was more than i could have hoped for. For a small business it means everything! It's proof you’re doing something right and that all those moments and travel experiences were worth telling the world about.

I had so many personal messages of encouragement after this article. Strangers who emailed me and said they were inspired and admired my leap of faith into the unknown. It was really touching to hear that my experiences resonated with so many people.

We all strive to live a life that’s true to ourselves, happy and purposeful, so if there’s something that you’re truly passionate about, do it now before time gets ahead of you. It’s never too late!
